Type design workshops
Skolen for Kunst og Design (Aarhus), Visuelt Gymnasium (Horsens), Rødding Højskole (Rødding)
The workshop is an introduction to type design for young creatives exploring various creative paths before potentially starting a design education. The course explores analogue build modular type as illustrative elements in graphic design practices and the participants are introduced to more traditional methods of type design as well as modular build type before designing/building their own (analogue) modular font.
The workshop is aimed at young adults between the age of 16-25 and has since 2024 been an annual course at Skolen for Kunst og Design (HF) in Aarhus. A variation of the course exploring the visual language of death through modular type design was held at Visuelt Gymnasium Horsens in the fall of 2025 as part of the programme for a local interdisciplinary festival on the days around All Hallows Eve.
